This scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior from within the boundaries of the Lodi Unified School District.  Applicants must be enrolled full time as an English major at an accredited university or college. Students do not need to be eligible for financial aid, however, financial need may be taken into account.  Established in the 2003-04 academic year, Jim Harvey Scholarships are made possible by an endowment established in honor of Jim Harvey’s literary contributions to the Lodi community. The endowment is intended to foster and support student excellence in undergraduate education in English and Creative Writing.
